Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho Inc is seeking substitute staff to support classrooms across multiple Idaho locations including Aberdeen and Weiser. The role involves assisting with records, supporting children's activities, and helping maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for infants to preschoolers.

Some duties may include transportation monitoring as needed. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, pass health and background checks, Tuberculosis clearance, and Pediatric First

Qualifications

• Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance.
• Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis.
• Must obtain Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English/Spanish in a business setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.
• Help provide children with experiences and opportunities to develop curiosity, initiative, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in a classroom environment.
• May include taking care of the hygienic needs of infants, toddlers, and potentially preschoolers.
• Ability to help maintain clear, reasonable, consistent, and age-appropriate rules and expectations for children.
• May perform duties of bus monitor if needed.
