Job summary

Idaho Arts Charter School - District Wide in Nampa, Idaho seeks a Substitute teacher to cover classes when the regular teacher is absent. You will follow lesson plans and supervise students to maintain a productive, respectful learning environment.

Location: Nampa, ID, with placement in elementary or secondary settings. Necessary qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, valid Idaho ID, and a current background check; starting date to be determined.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Idaho identification.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Manage the classroom to encourage participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive environment.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom including halls, playground and cafeteria.
• Implements lesson plans with integrity and motivates students to learn and participate.
