Job summary

University of Miami’s UHealth Tower is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 - Specialty - On Call to deliver patient-family centered care using evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service. The role includes supervising nurses and allied health staff and coordinating care across teams.

The RN will assess patients, adjust plans, administer medications, document care, and support discharge planning, while upholding HIPAA and safety protocols in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or relevant field required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Valid State of Florida RN license required or as applicable.
• Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses assigned patients and documents nursing care and vital signs.
• Modifies treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
• Administers medications and maintains accurate records per policy.
• Coordinates care with physicians and health professionals; supports discharge planning.
