Job summary

HealthPoint in Renton, WA is seeking a Specialty Clinical Pharmacist to develop, optimize and expand clinical programs for the HealthPoint Specialty Pharmacy, collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager and Clinical Supervisor.

You will participate in medication access, patient counseling in multiple languages, reviews for safety with polypharmacy, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Active WA pharmacy license in good standing.
• BCPS/BCACP/CSP certification(s) assets; timelines apply.
• Ability to read and interpret journals, reports, and regulations.
• Experience with dispensing systems and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and expand clinical programs for HealthPoint Specialty Pharmacy.
• Provide drug therapy information and educate patients, including multilingual communication.
• Conduct visits with patients and review medications for safety and dosing.
• Document visits and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regs and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to optimize therapy and access.
• Assist in training staff and improving workflows in the specialty pharmacy.
