Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience working with children with special needs.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with basic and special health care needs under the supervision of a credentialed school nurse.
• Support teachers by reinforcing lessons in classroom and off-campus settings as needed.
• Administer first aid and CPR as directed by medical staff.
• Attend IEP meetings to provide and obtain information for parents and students.
