Qualifications

• High School Diploma and translation competency testing in a secondary language.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Previous healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide interpreter services to non-English-speaking patients and visitors.
• Convey exact messages between Duke staff and patients, not summaries.
• Maintain accurate daily records of requests and services.
• Ensure confidentiality and assist with risk management compliance.
