Job summary

City of New Hope is seeking entry-level snow removal help for sidewalks, parking lots and related areas. The role is seasonal, on-call from mid-November through March, performing light equipment operations and manual work under supervision.

Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, possess a valid Minnesota driver's license, and be able to work in cold, wet, and windy conditions. Experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations.
• Capable of working in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sidewalks and areas with snow removal equipment and tasks.
• Ensures proper maintenance and cleaning of equipment after use.
• Operates trucks and trailers and handles loading/unloading tasks.
• Inspects equipment and reports defects for repairs.
• Performs small repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Follows safety and security standards.
