Job summary

YWCA Clark County is seeking an on-call Sexual Assault On-Call Advocate to provide general, medical and legal advocacy for survivors of sexual assault. The role requires responding to hotline calls within 15 minutes and supporting victims during medical exams at designated facilities.

The position offers a unique schedule: one weekday per week and one weekend per month, with additional shifts as needed, and includes a bilingual differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with persons in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy for sexual assault survivors.
• Offer emotional support and connect to resources.
• Document calls and maintain confidentiality according to policy.
• Respond to hotline calls and be available for shifts within required timeframes.
• Adhere to organization policies and complete trainings.
