Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with persons in crisis.
• Strong communication in English; bilingual skills preferred.
• Dependable transportation; occasional nights and/or weekends.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services including general, medical, and legal advocacy to survivors at on-site and off-site locations.
• Support and information over the phone, in person, and via video conferencing.
• Advocate at schools, courts, and police precincts as needed.
• Assist during medical forensic exams at designated ERs.
• Communicate with law enforcement and service partners to coordinate survivor-centered support.
• Refer participants to other YWCA Clark County programs as needed.
• Manage caseload in coordination with program director; co-facilitate survivor-centered groups.
• Track hours and submit monthly timesheets.
