Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking an entry-level Service/Repair Technician 1 to support on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of basic mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment for Hobart Service customers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of electrical/mechanical experience, and a knack for reading service manuals.

On-call, after-hours, weekends and travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Installs basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assists in more advanced installs as needed.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical commercial food equipment for customers.
• Completes and documents preventative maintenance on basic mechanical food equipment.
• Implements and supports standard operating procedures outlined in Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
• Supports branch and organization financial objectives by providing a quality customer experience.
• Maintains current organization, industry, and equipment knowledge.
• Responsible for assigned company assets including vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follows the company's safe driving and other applicable policies.
