Job summary

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking On-Call Events/Banquet Servers to join the hotel’s Event Services team. This hourly, nonexempt role supports banquet functions, sets up linens, presents menus, and serves drinks in a fast-paced luxury resort.

Candidates should have prior event services experience, strong communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Riverside County Food Handler Card is required where applicable.

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is now recruiting for On-Call Events/Banquet Servers to join the hotel’s Event Services team. The On-Call Events/Banquet Servers handle food and drink service for hotel banquet functions. They make sure the event space looks great and present the menu to guests. This includes setting up linens and tables, designing food stations, and serving drinks. Other tasks include general prep work, refreshing the room between sessions, and keeping everything clean. This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90, plus service charge. This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
