Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street Boston is seeking an On Call Server with a passion for hospitality and keen attention to detail. The role requires serving guests with menu knowledge, assisting with orders, and delivering exceptional service in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in food service, strong English skills, and the ability to balance a tray. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years food service or related work.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve guest needs with knowledge of food and beverage items and preparation methods.
• Describe menu items with vivid details; relay orders to the kitchen via POS; coordinate timing.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and address concerns promptly.
• Close checks correctly; process payments and settle voids or comped meals.
• Breakdown, clean, and reset tables, buffets, and stations.
• Stock supplies and equipment for service; work harmoniously with team; cover weekend/nights/holidays.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Trifecta team as an On Call Server!

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.
• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Stock paper goods, non-alcoholic beverage and other miscellaneous items for service
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
