Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician in Horsham, PA to diagnose and repair card access, CCTV, and fire alarm systems at customer sites. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service to improve building efficiency and safety.

You will follow troubleshooting procedures, read blueprints and manuals, and communicate effectively with customers. The job may require on-call emergency support, travel, and lifting up to 50-70 lbs; NICET certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years documented experience with Security Solutions, including Card Access, Intrusion, and CCTV.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
• Experience installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming card access and CCTV.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform service/repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar and fire alarm systems at customer sites.
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals to repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specs, and product manuals.
• Provide high level of customer service and clearly communicate solutions.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding via smartphones/laptops and obtain customer signature.
• Available for on-call emergency service and provide quotes to support recommendations.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to safety guidelines.
