Job summary

The Monroe County Consortium is seeking a Substitute Custodian to assist in maintaining facilities. Pay is $18.00/hour with varied hours based on need. This role also entails emergency custodial duties, cleaning, and seasonal ground maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably prior custodial experience.

A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work effectively with others. The position is located at the Administration Building of Monroe County ISD.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license with excellent driving record.
• Previous custodial/maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining seasonal ground work.
• Clean and preserve designated spaces in building(s).
• Deal with all emergency custodial duties.
• Perform general and scheduled maintenance on machinery.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret manuals

Demonstrated aptitude for maintenance responsibilities

Effective working relationships

Awareness of District requirements
