Job summary

Chehalis School District is seeking a substitute custodian to maintain clean, safe, and attractive facilities and support meetings and events as needed. The role is on-call and responsibilities include cleaning, setting up rooms, and assisting staff in maintaining facilities.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to pass a fingerprint/background check. Forklift operation may be required, and drivers licensed in Washington are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
• Must pass a criminal justice fingerprint/background check.

Responsibilities

• Arrange furnishings and equipment for meetings and events.
• Clean and maintain school facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Monitor and maintain building security and grounds.
• Assist with setting up facilities for assemblies and events.
• Operate forklift to unload supplies when needed.
