Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking reliable Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians to join our team for paid, on-call school coverage in Long Island, NY. The role involves 1:1 ABA therapy during school days, with on-call hours 6am-9am and higher rates when in full-day service.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology or special education and have ABA experience. Transportation to Nassau/Suffolk counties and strong communication skills are important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred).
• Previous school-based or special education experience.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental delays.
• Reliable transportation to Nassau & Suffolk counties.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Be available on-call M-F between 6am-9am to accept same-day school assignments.
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision during full school days.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention and support plans.
• Collect and record accurate data on behavior and skill progress.
• Maintain detailed and professional documentation per school and agency standards.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen your clinical skills.
