Job summary

Harborview Medical Center, part of UW Medicine, seeks a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) to provide adult, adolescent and pediatric care with forensic evidence collection. The role requires on-call availability and rapid response across five hospitals in the UW Medicine system.

Qualified candidates are RNs with at least two years of experience, a WA nursing license, and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Two or more years working as an RN.
• Have/Obtain a Washington state nursing license to practice or MSL.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide service at Harborview Medical Center and Valley Medical Center.
• Respond to cases at all five hospitals within 45 min to 1 hour.
• SANE duties including physical exam and forensic evidence collection.
