Job summary

Alpha Omega Hospice in Texas is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate hospice care during patients’ most critical moments. The RN will identify needs, coordinate care, and support families in home settings.

The role requires an active RN license, at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience, and proficiency with EMR systems. A 7 On/7 Off schedule covers Granbury, Cleburne, Glen Rose, Stephenville, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with current unencumbered license.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice experience a plus.
• Proficient with EMR and computer programs; CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine.
• Provide empathetic, heartful assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and meet regulatory standards.
• Provide support for families, guiding them in caring for terminally ill loved ones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$80,000 - $87,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
