Job summary

City Facilities Management (US) LLC is seeking an experienced Refrigeration and HVAC Technician to maintain and repair supermarket refrigeration systems across multiple retail locations. The role emphasizes safe practices, timely communication with Site Management, and proactive refrigerant leak repairs.

Ideal candidates hold Journeyman qualification in refrigeration/HVAC, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and the ability to read/write English proficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman qualified in refrigeration/HVAC or equivalent experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling class I & II or universal certification.
• Ability to read/write/speak English proficiently.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
• Strong knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration equipment, electrical/HVAC, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Refrigeration Controller Technology, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Proven self-motivation and reliability; able to multitask and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain refrigeration and HVAC for multiple retail locations.
• Repair compressors, water pumps, air handlers and control devices safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with Site Management about ongoing maintenance activities.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and communicate planned maintenance.
• Provide timely job updates and refrigerant leak checks.
• Maintain assets to high standards and perform preventive maintenance.
• Monitor refrigerant usage and keep logs for assigned stores.
• Participate in after-hours emergency call program.
• Assist with troubleshooting and complete equipment inventories.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
