Job summary

Charles River Center in Wayland, MA seeks a Relief Counselor to provide per diem coverage (up to 34 hours/week) across CRC homes. You will implement ISPs and offer direct care, supervision, and daily activity support in a person-centered, community-integrated environment.

The role requires a Human Services degree or related experience, a MA driver’s license, and completion of minimum safety and first aid trainings. Expect a flexible schedule and responsive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed a degree in Human Services or equivalent experience.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver's License required.
• Certification requirements include MAP optional for relief staff, safety and first aid trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem coverage across CRC homes as scheduled.
• Implement and review Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
• Provide direct care and supervision—personal care, social skills, and daily activities.
• Coordinate transportation and maintain records of progress and house funds.
• Maintain safety and compliance with CRC policies and state regulations.
