Job summary

SOME, Inc. in West Virginia is seeking an On-Call Residential Assistant to support residents in high-need housing settings in High View, WV. You will monitor facilities, assist with crisis response, and transport residents to meetings in the greater DC area as needed.

Open to compassionate individuals with a HS diploma and 1–3 years in social services, including addictions or mental health experience. Shifts vary including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays; training and growth

Qualifications

• HS Degree or GED.
• 1–3 years in social services.
• Experience in addictions or mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residential/transitional housing facilities and residents.
• Respond to crises, escalate as needed, and maintain safety.
• Transport residents to meetings and accompany them off-site as required.
• Complete daily documentation accurately.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and professional boundaries.
