Job summary

Willamette Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in Spokane, WA. You will prepare instruments, assist in four-handed dentistry, take radiographs, and counsel patients on post-operative care and oral health.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Washington state RDA at hire (EFDA preferred), and BLS. The position offers full-time hours, travel between WD locations as needed, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; EFDA preferred.
• EFDA preferred; ADA-accredited program desirable.
• Washington state Registered Dental Assistant at hire (or ability to obtain).
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for all dental procedures.
• Work under supervision of a dentist and perform four-handed dentistry.
• Counsel patients in post-operative care and oral health, and explain evidence-based dentistry.
