Willamette Dental Group is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant in the Spokane Valley area to support dentists, hygienists, and other providers. The role emphasizes patient comfort and safe, high-quality care within state regulations.

The successful candidate will prepare instruments, assist with four-handed dentistry, take radiographs, and maintain sterilization procedures. Washington state credentials and radiography certification are required or expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• Desirable: Graduation from an ADA-accredited dental assisting program and/or EFDA credentials.
• Strong communication and patient-relations abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for all dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
• Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry under the dentist's supervision.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
• Obtain patient medical history, and monitor blood pressure and pulse.
• Take impressions for study casts and ensure sterilization per policy and OSHA/WISHA regulations.
