Frontier Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care and support to hospice patients and families during critical moments.

Schedule: 7 On/7 Off; Territory: Oklahoma City and Edmond. The role emphasizes compassionate assessments, thorough documentation, and family guidance in end-of-life care, with a strong onboarding program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• RN license current and unencumbered.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice experience a plus.
• Computer proficiency and EMR experience.
• Current CPR certification if state requires.

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: respond to a variety of patient needs in urgent to routine moments.
• Provide empathetic and heartful assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient home and agency records per standards.
• Provide support for families, guiding and reassuring them during difficult times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$84,000 - $90,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
