Job summary

Hospice of the West is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to support hospice patients and families in Mesa, AZ. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, care coordination, and compassionate, in-home support during critical moments.

You'll work a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (Friday to Friday, 5pm–8am) with ongoing professional growth through our onboarding and career-path programs. A BSN and active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum one year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice a plus.
• Must be proficient with computers and EMR systems.
• CPR certification as required by state.

Overview

Hospice of the West is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, Friday to Friday from 5p to 8am

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$80,000 - $93,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
