Job summary

Vi at Palo Alto is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide superior care to assigned residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatments. This role also involves supervising staff and developing strong relationships with residents, families and the health care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse where practicing.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.
• First Aid certification current or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior care to residents including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatments.
• Supervise staff and collaborate with residents, families and health care team.
• Maintain courteous, professional interactions and resident-focused problem solving.
