Job summary

StoryPoint in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Receptionist to provide efficient and courteous service to residents and the public. This PRN position offers flexibility to pick up shifts as needed with pay of $17-18 per hour.

Responsibilities include answering calls, greeting residents and guests, daily check-ins, mail and packages, coordinating with Leasing Team, and supporting the Property Administrator. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-3 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training may be considered as an alternative.

Responsibilities

• Answer all telephone calls and properly transfer to the appropriate department.
• Daily resident check in.
• Answer routine telephone inquiries.
• Greet residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Distribute applications to prospective employees.
• Refer prospective residents and families to the Leasing Team.
• Sort and deliver mail, internal messages and packages to residents and staff.
• Knowledge of resident apartments, in-house facilities and local information.
• Reserve private dining area for residents and guests.
• Collect work orders and information for the maintenance director.
• Know emergency call system and procedures.
• Perform duties following company policies and procedures.
• Work independently in a professional atmosphere.
