BNSF Railway in Helena, MT is seeking a Clerk on an Extra List to cover shifts when permanent staff are absent. On-call 23 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts governed by union seniority.

Qualifications

• Able to work now and in the future without BNSF sponsorship or employment authorization assistance.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to report to the designated work location.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport train crews safely in a BNSF crew van.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks including station/yard office duties and data entry.
• Stock Clerk duties: manage inventory, orders, shipping, receiving, and storage of materials.
• Provide customer service support, handle waybilling errors, and communicate rail car movements.
