Job summary

Forest Properties Management, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for our property in Pawtucket, RI. You will be part of a team performing corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency property maintenance across the apartment community.

Essential duties include repairing appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, preparing vacant units for leasing, and reporting issues to the supervisor. On-call duties, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• One year experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
• HVAC or appliance repair experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs or more and perform physical tasks in small spaces.
• Good reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Bring your own tools and have reliable transportation.
• Eligibility to work in the USA and provide proof.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling system repairs as needed.
• Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform work to make vacant apartments ready for lease.
• Report any building, ground, or system issue to supervisor for corrective action.
• Ability to communicate and work well with residents, colleagues, administrative staff, and vendors.
• Able to work a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
