Job summary

Forest Properties Management, Inc. in Pawtucket, RI, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency property maintenance across our apartment community.

You will join a team of technicians and help keep units and common areas in excellent condition. The role offers hourly pay of $22–$25, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, fully-paid life insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, and a discretionary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
• HVAC or appliance repair experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical activities.
• Good reading, writing and math skills.
• Own tools and reliable transportation.
• Eligibility to work in the USA with proof.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling system repairs.
• Complete service requests correctly and timely.
• Prepare vacant apartments for lease, including cleaning.
• Report building, ground, or system issues to supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, colleagues, staff, and vendors.
• Work in rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends.
