Phoenix Property Management Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in Providence, RI.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, custodial duties, and grounds care across multiple properties to ensure safety, cleanliness, and reliability. Requirements include 2+ years in building maintenance, proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting, plus the ability to read blueprints and lift up to 50 lbs.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (apartment or multi-family housing)
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting trades
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and building codes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Rhode Island driver’s license and transportation
• Must be bondable and carry current insurances
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders
• Willingness to be on-call for nights and weekends
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed

Mansioni

• Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and basic HVAC systems
• Repair and maintain doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, flooring, and fixtures
• Install and repair lighting, switches, outlets, and plumbing components
• Perform painting, patching, and minor repairs as needed
• Maintain knowledge of building shut-offs (water, gas, sewer)
• Assist with apartment turnovers (repairs, painting, cleaning)
• Replace equipment and fixtures as needed; support renovation projects
• Assist with snow removal, trash removal, and general grounds maintenance
• Clean and maintain common areas and mechanical spaces
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly property
• Participate in on-call duties for emergency maintenance and lock-outs
• Identify and report safety hazards or security concerns
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
