Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of our property buildings and grounds in Evanston. You will handle daily repairs, prep vacant units for occupancy, and ensure all tools and supplies are organized.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, strong communication, and a commitment to safety in line with OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• Operate hand and power tools safely to perform repairs.
• Follow written or oral instructions with attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team.
• Know-how in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience in property maintenance/handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of property and prepare vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools are on hand and work areas secured.
• Respond to on-call service requests and snow removal.
