Job summary

InTown Suites in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to oversee daily upkeep of the hotel property and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, handle on-call emergencies, and support the Property Attendant role as needed.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs, with the ability to read instructions, communicate clearly, lift up to 100 lbs, and work weekends while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• Experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general maintenance repairs.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and buildings; clean siding and walkways.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms and equipment.
• Repair walls, furniture, carpet, and cabinets as needed.
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls promptly.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor at shift end.
• Assist as Property Attendant as required by management.
