Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work maintaining buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to Greystar standards.

This role requires diagnosing defects, completing make-ready tasks, scheduling vendors, maintaining safety, and following procedures to ensure quality, cost control, and resident satisfaction. Includes on-call evenings and weekends with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing per safety standards and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Tracks inventory and communicates re-ordering needs to the maintenance supervisor; retrieves supplies as needed.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools properly.
