Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds. You will be responsible for daily repairs, vacant unit prep, inventory management, and upholding safety standards. The role requires on-call availability and a professional appearance.

AMC offers competitive pay, benefits, and incentive programs. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour for full-time employment, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman duties.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and inventory all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain the required property uniform for a professional appearance.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shop at close of workday.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and 24-hour service requests.
