Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds. The role supports on-site operations, ensuring safe, functional facilities and timely occupancy readiness.

Responsibilities include tooling, inventory, safety compliance, and 24/7 on-call responsiveness. The position offers full-time temporary status with hourly pay from $26 to $28, plus vacation, health programs, 401K options, holidays, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit preparation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies; on-call duties.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day; snow/ice removal as needed.
• Handle lock-outs from evictions and respond 24/7 to service requests.
