Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property buildings and grounds in good working order. You’ll perform daily repairs and prepare vacant units for occupancy.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, ensuring tools are on hand, reporting unusual conditions, following OSHA safety policies, and being on-call. AMC offers competitive pay, benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant units.
• Maintain and inventory all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shop at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs from evictions and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
