Job summary

Pedcor Management Corporation in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across the property, including apartments, common areas, equipment, and pools. You will respond to service requests within 24 hours unless in emergencies, prioritize by urgency, and keep storage and shop areas neat while supporting on-call rotations.

Candidates should have HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills, OSHA/EPA knowledge, a EPA Type 2

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems knowledge and code compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and life-safety regulations.
• EPA Type 2 Certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic hand tools and the ability to work weekends or evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance in vacant and occupied apartments, common buildings, equipment, and pools.
• Completion of service requests within 24 hours, except emergencies.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and the potential of further damage.
• Ensure that the curb appeal of the property is maintained at all times, including the path to the models and office.
• Assist in maintaining the proper inventory by alerting supervisor/office when current stock is depleted.
• Keeps storage and shop areas in a neat, well-stocked, clean, organized manner, per company color-coded program.
• Continue the maintenance operation in the absence of the maintenance supervisor.
• Participation in a seven (7) day 24 hour rotating on-call schedule for emergency after hour calls.
