Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with PRAXIS/college credits or AA degree.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, diplomatic and cooperative.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Clerical skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse people.
• Willingness to work with all children and support teachers.
• Must be available Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist schools on a substitute/on-call basis as needed.
• Instruct and care for basic and disabled students in various settings.
• Assist with recess and crosswalk duties and clerical tasks.
• Follow district policies and maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
