Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist for a PRN role. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist the team during obstetric procedures, and help ensure a safe, patient-centered surgical experience with on-call support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training in the Surgical Technologist role is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience is Required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
