The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, handling work orders, keeping common areas in top condition, and responding to emergencies. The position involves coordinating with staff, vendors and residents, conducting safety checks, documenting incidents, preparing move-ins, and assisting engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily facilities.
• HVAC certification or equivalent experience.
• Light plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills.
• On-call availability required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and nights as needed.
• Good time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with staff, vendors and residents to maintain safety, cleanliness and upkeep of the building.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies according to documented procedures.
• Prepare incident reports, perform fire safety inspections and janitorial support.
• Complete service requests in common areas and owner/resident units in a timely manner.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and repair/replace unit mechanicals as needed.
