Mark-Taylor in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair apartment communities, ensuring five-star service for residents and operating efficiently. You will assist in make-readies, diagnose HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues, and perform preventive maintenance across units and common areas.

The role offers on-call shifts with additional incentive pay, opportunities for certification pay, and access to comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Experience as apartment turn technician, make ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• Troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Excellent customer service skills with professional and timely communication with residents and team members.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, safety practices, and identifying potential issues before they become larger concerns.
• Knowledge of building systems and OSHA-related standards.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work orders, make-readies, and on-call responsibilities.
• Team-oriented and accountable, with the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
• Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensure pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards and correct them or inform the Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and be available in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
