Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a Service Technician at San Portales to maintain apartment communities and deliver five-star resident service. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, perform make-readies, and support preventative maintenance across the property.

The role rewards on-call incentives and offers benefits, PTO, and competitive hourly pay. Prior experience in apartment maintenance and safe work practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as apartment turn technician, make ready technician, or work order technician.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot and correct minor HVAC, appliance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vacancies and common areas.
• Provide daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
