Ginkgo Residential LLC in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Service Manager in maintaining apartment homes and community spaces. You will perform preventive, corrective, emergency, and cosmetic repairs to meet company standards and resident expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily or residential settings.
• HVAC certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
• Excellent customer service and communication with a people-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with accountability.
• Basic computer skills (work orders, property management systems).
• Valid driver’s license and rotating weekend/on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance per policies and standards.
• Complete service requests promptly, delivering an exceptional resident experience.
• Prepare vacant homes for new residents with inspections and make-ready repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and building systems.
• Coordinate work by third-party vendors to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance shop and promote sustainability.
• Inspect community buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment.
