Job summary

Ginkgo Residential LLC, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Service Manager in maintaining our multifamily communities. You will perform preventative, corrective, emergency, and cosmetic repairs to keep apartment homes and common areas up to standard and residents satisfied.

This role requires a strong safety mindset, reliability on on-call schedules, and the ability to diagnose HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general building systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or residential settings.
• HVAC certification and/or CPO certification preferred or obtainable.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance per policies and standards.
• Complete service requests promptly, delivering an exceptional resident experience.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents with inspections and make-ready repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.
• Coordinate and monitor work by third-party vendors to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop with sustainable practices.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and systems to identify safety needs.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
