• Associates degree in Radiology (required).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and explains exams to patients.
• Maintains knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology for imaging procedures.
• Performs imaging procedures per patient assessment and imaging protocols; monitored by evaluations.
• Performs all exams pertaining to the specialty area.
• Ensures MRI safety precautions for patients and staff.
• Maintains current procedural knowledge in specialty areas.
• Assesses patient needs and supports imaging care and comfort.
• Prepares contrast agents per guidelines.
• Educates patients about MRI procedures and contrast media.
