Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health seeks a Mobile Crisis Specialist II to provide on-call and mobile crisis response across multiple communities in Missouri. You will conduct rapid crisis assessments and implement safety plans while coordinating with crisis teams and law enforcement to ensure timely care.

The role requires a master’s degree preferred or a bachelor’s with relevant experience, plus CPR/First Aid and CPI certification, and the ability to work across fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health or related field required.
• Completion of a practicum or one year of behavioral health experience.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance if using personal/company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call/mobile crisis response and face-to-face assessments.
• Assess risk and plan safety measures; determine appropriate care or hospitalization.
• Collaborate with Crisis Team and community resources; coordinate with law enforcement.
• Document accurately per DMH, BBH, and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing meetings, trainings, and supervision for professional growth.
