UnityPoint Health – Eyerly Ball is seeking compassionate individuals for a Mobile Crisis On-Call Counselor role based in Fort Dodge, IA. This PRN, on-call position requires rapid crisis response in community or home settings and may involve travel within the assigned region.

You will provide immediate support, consultation during crises, and collaboration with partners to move clients toward safety and stability, with on-call shifts and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Mental health professional as defined by Iowa Code 228.1, or a bachelor’s/associate degree, or high school diploma.
• Experience requirements vary by education level: MH professional: 1 year; bachelor’s in human services: 1 year; non-human services bachelor: 2 years; associate: 2 years; high school diploma: 2 years.
• License: Valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance policy holder requirements; pass background checks.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must handle high-stimulus environments; communicate with professionals; fluent English; multitask; teamwork; empathy; boundary setting; well organized; excellent attendance.
• Other: Reliable vehicle; access to telephone and internet.

Aufgaben

• Provide crisis response and intervention to clients on crisis calls in community or home settings where the crisis is occurring.
• Complete related data entry and documentation in accordance with agency policy.
• During an on-call shift, be available by telephone and respond within a 1-hour physical response region while coordinating with the on-call partner.
