Job summary

Elevate CCBHC in Iowa, Burlington, is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Team member to respond to mental health crises in the community, on call with a partner or law enforcement, and to coordinate care with local providers.

This role requires meeting one of several educational/training paths, maintaining a valid driver's license, and being able to work 7:00am–7:00pm, including nights and weekends, with typical pay of $18.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• Crisis Intervention with suicide intervention experience
• Availability 7am–7pm
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of community resources
• Experience assisting people with addiction, relationship difficulties, depression, stress, poverty, mental illness

Responsibilities

• Work on-call in pairs or with law enforcement
• Respond to crises within one hour of being called
• Coordinate arrival with co-worker for two-person responses
• Develop relationships with mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement, schools and hospital staff
