Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician on-call to assist residents with medications and daily living activities, maintain accurate records, and follow personalized service plans.

You will document, administer or assist with treatments, coordinate with the care team, respond to emergencies, and uphold HIPAA, safety, and state regulations while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• CPR & First Aid certification required or able to obtain.
• 1+ year in a similar healthcare role preferred; medication handling experience valued.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; HIPAA compliance expected.
• Must pass background checks and health screening; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications and treatments per plans.
• Document medication passes, incidents, and notes accurately and timely.
• Notify supervisor of deviations and changes in orders; coordinate with pharmacy.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resident alerts; ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow regulatory policies and MBK procedures.
